Young Potatoes and Zucchini Baked in Coals on the Grill

How delicious it is – young potatoes and zucchini baked in charcoal on the grill. Such baked vegetables can be prepared for meat or fish kebabs, but we just fried sausages.

Ingredients

  • Young potatoes – 8 pcs.
  • Young zucchini – 2 pcs. 250 g each
  • Fresh pork fat – 200 g
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Ground red pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Dill greens (for serving) – to taste
  • Sour cream – to taste
  • Garlic to taste
  • Greens to taste

Directions

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, make several cuts across, without cutting to the end. Insert plates of bacon into the cuts, salt and pepper to taste. Put a piece of bacon on the foil, and potatoes on the bacon.
  2. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise, salt and pepper. Put a thin slice of bacon on one half of the zucchini, cover with the other half. Put on foil, spread small slices of bacon around.
  3. Wrap the prepared vegetables tightly in foil.
  4. Bake potatoes and zucchini in charcoal on the grill, check readiness with a toothpick.
  5. While vegetables are baked in coals, sausages can be fried on the grill.
  6. Sprinkle the prepared vegetables with chopped dill, serve with sour cream, garlic and herbs sauce.
