Ingredients

  • 4 zucchini
  • 3 cans tomato (s), chopped
  • 250 g pearl barley
  • Vegetable broth
  • 2 pairs sausages (Debreziner)
  • 250 g veal sausae
  • some oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion (s)
  • some olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the zucchinis and cut into large pieces. Peel and dice the onion. Fry both in olive oil. Deglaze with the canned tomatoes and simmer. Add the seasoning and chopped oregano.
  2. Cook the pearl barley in water according to the instructions on the package. Pour through a sieve and rinse. Add the pearl barley to the tomato vegetables.
  3. Cut the debreziner into slices and add.
  4. With the help of two moist spoons, shape small dumplings out of the sausage meat and fry in a little olive oil over medium heat. Add to the stew. Stir well and fill up with vegetable stock until the desired consistency is achieved. Season again to taste.
