Ingredients

  • 3 cup rice
  • 1 pointed pepper
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • White wine
  • 2 glasses ajvar, milder or spicy
  • Spice Ketchup
  • 1 can corn or corn mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice until al dente according to the package instructions and set aside.
  2. Chop the onions and garlic into small pieces. Cut the peppers into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat some oil in a saucepan. When it`s hot, add the peppers. When it`s colored, add the garlic and onion. Stir in the tomato paste and roast. Deglaze with white wine.
  4. Stir in the ajvar and a good dash of ketchup. When it is simmering, add the cooked rice and corn. Finally stir in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Schnitzel and meatballs go well with this.
