Ingredients

  • 6 egg (s), separated
  • 180 g suar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon kirsch
  • 2 drops bitter almond flavor
  • 70 g breadcrumbs
  • 200 g almond (s), not peeled, round
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 glass cherry (s), drained
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Beat egg yolks with sugar until creamy. Stir in cinnamon, kirsch and bitter almond oil. Mix breadcrumbs with ground almonds and baking powder, stir in.
  2. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, fold in. Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Spread the cherries evenly on top.
  3. Bake at 150 ° C in a non-preheated oven for approx. 50 minutes.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar and ideally try it while still lukewarm.
