Ingredients

  • 1 apple, red
  • 2 tablespoon liqueur (peppermint liqueur)
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • possibly cream, whipped
  • possibly pistachios, unsalted, chopped
  • possibly cherry (s) (maraschino cherries)

Instructions

  1. Put the apple, previously peeled whole and pitted with a core cutter, together with the sugar, the water and the liqueur in a saucepan and let everything boil over low heat until the apple is cooked, but still in shape and out of the liquid has become a light syrup.
  2. During the cooking process, you should turn the apple carefully every now and then so that it turns green all over.
  3. Then you put it on a serving plate and after cooling down you fill the hole with some cream, the pistachios and possibly the cherry.
