Ingredients

  • 1 kg white cabbage
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 200 ml mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or light balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon sugar, white
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ black pepper
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 80 ml sweet cream

Instructions

  1. Clean the white cabbage. Peel the carrot. Grate the cabbage and carrot into pieces the size of rice grains with a vegetable grater. Peel the onion, cut finely but do not grate.
  2. Put the cabbage, carrots and all other ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 3 - 4 hours and before serving, season to taste with sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and cream and mix.
  3. The salad can also be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. It lasts for 2 - 3 days and tastes very good with grilled food.
