Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g butter
  • 400 g flour
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100 g suar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 bottle butter-vanilla flavor (glass tube)
  • 0.5 ½ bottle rum aroma (glass tube)

For the filling:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 200 g suar
  • 200 g hazelnuts, finely round
  • 6 drops bitter almond flavor

Instructions

  1. Knead the butter, sugar, cream cheese, egg yolk and flavor briefly, then add the flour, knead quickly. Divide the dough into three equal pieces and let rest for ten minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough pieces to a diameter of 28 cm each.
  3. Beat egg whites with sugar until stiff. Fold in the bitter almond flavor and nuts. Spread the nut filling on the dough sheets, divide into 16 pieces with the help of a cake divider, roll up into croissants and bake in a preheated oven at 170 ° C for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Keeps fresh for a week in a can.
