Ingredients

  • 6 apples
  • little butter
  • little cinnamon

For the dough:

  • 1 teaspoon, leveled cinnamon
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 cup eggnog

For covering:

  • 200 g almond (s), sliced or chopped
  • 200 g suar
  • 125 g butter
  • 4 tablespoon cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the apples. Briefly sauté in a little butter and cinnamon and let cool down a little.
  2. Then stir together the ingredients for the dough. Place the batter on a prepared baking sheet and distribute the apple mixture on top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C top / bottom heat for about 10-15 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, prepare the topping in the pot. Mix the butter, sugar, cream and almonds together and heat. Pour the mixture onto the pre-baked cake. Bake the cake at the same temperature for another 10-15 minutes.
