Ingredients

  • 100 g apple
  • 100 g carrot (s)
  • 100 g buttermilk
  • 100 g millet flour
  • 40 g raisins, or cranberries
  • 20 g seeds, chopped (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc.), or nuts
  • 2 tablespoon flakes (Chuffas Nüssli) if available
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon powder
  • coriander, at will
  • 1 teaspoon tartar baking powder

Instructions

  1. Finely grate the apples and carrots. Add the buttermilk, nuts and spices. Then add the flour with the baking powder and stir. Spread the dough over 8 muffin molds (silicone or a greased tray). Bake at 180 degrees for approx. 15-20 minutes. Then place the mold on a damp kitchen towel and let it cool down. Then remove it from the mold.
