Instructions

  1. Put the kefir and baking soda in a bowl and mix together. Mix the eggs, sugar and salt in another bowl. Add the kefir and baking soda mixture and stir in. Gradually add the flour and stir with a whisk until the dough has a thick (creamy) consistency. Then let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, grate the apples with a grater.
  3. When the dough has rested, add the cinnamon to taste and the grated apples.
  4. Set the stove to level 5. Put the oil in a large pan and add small, not too thick, dough blobs into the pan. When you see a brown edge, turn the oladushki with 2 forks and finish frying.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
