Apple-banana-passion Fruit Jam

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Peel the bananas and cut into small pieces. Now weigh the fruit and dose with passion fruit juice so that a total of approx. 1.3 kg of fruit mass is produced.
  2. Put the bananas in a saucepan and add the passion fruit juice. Then puree everything and add the apple pieces. Stir in 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Now add the preserving sugar and bring to the boil while stirring. Cook for about 4 minutes while stirring.
  3. Pour the jam into clean screw-top jars, close tightly and turn upside down for about 15 minutes. Then let it cool down slowly.
  4. If you want, you can also puree the apple pieces, but I prefer a few pieces in the jam.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
