Instructions

  1. Clean and wash the leek and cut into very fine rings. If you want, you can briefly blanch the leek in boiling salted water, then leave the rings a little thicker, quench with cold water and drain well. Put the leek in a bowl.
  2. Peel the apples, remove the core, quarter and cut across into thin slices. Add to the leek rings together with the drained corn. Pour the Emmentaler into the mixture and mix everything together.
  3. Boil the eggs hard and cut into large cubes. Stir carefully into the salad.
  4. Prepare a dressing from sour cream, tartar sauce and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Let the salad soak through.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
