Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 300 grams flour
  • 3 tablespoon, heaped sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)

For covering:

  • 900 g apples
  • 20 g butter
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 20 g suar
  • 5 tablespoon jelly, e.g. raspberry jelly

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients for the dough in a mixing bowl to form a shortcrust pastry.
  2. Line a 28 cm fruit cake tin with the dough and prick the dough several times with a fork.
  3. Spread the apples cut into wedges on the floor and then bake at 200 ° C top and bottom heat for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the butter in a pan, roast the walnuts and caramelize with 20 g sugar.
