Ingredients

  • 100 g flour
  • 70 g cornstarch
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 125 g suar
  • 75 g butter
  • 500 g apples
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250 g quark
  • 1 teaspoon lemon (s), grated zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Knead the flour, 50 g starch, egg, 50 g sugar and butter.
  2. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Peel, quarter and core apples and cut into wedges.
  4. Put the dough in a greased springform pan, distribute it evenly and make an approx. 2 cm high rim.
  5. Spread the apples on the dough.
  6. Mix egg yolks, quark, remaining sugar and remaining starch as well as lemon juice and lemon zest. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
  7. Pour the quark mixture over the apples.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° for about 45 minutes.
  9. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
