Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon jelly (quince)
  • a lot cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into pieces. Put in a saucepan, add sugar, jam and maple syrup and plenty of cinnamon to taste.
  2. Cook on a low heat, stirring often so that nothing burns. If the apples don`t crumble enough, puree the applesauce, but so that pieces are left.
  3. Quince jelly works best, but another jelly can be used.
