Instructions

  1. Break off the asparagus at the ends; it breaks where it is no longer woody. Cut into 2-3 cm long pieces and cook until al dente.
  2. Halve the cherry tomatoes and pluck the Serrano ham into pieces.
  3. Mix the dressing with olive oil, balsamic cream, salt, pepper, sugar and 2-3 tablespoons of the asparagus water. Add hot asparagus and stir. When the whole thing has cooled down a bit, add the halved tomatoes and ham and finally sprinkle with the chives and serve lukewarm.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
