Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the strawberries and cut into even slices. Season with honey, a pinch of salt and a little pepper and mix gently. Peel and core the avocado and cut into slices, about the same size as the strawberry slices, and drizzle immediately with lemon juice. Mix the strawberry and avocado slices gently and briefly and arrange on a large flat plate. Drizzle a few drops of balsamic vinegar over it.
  2. This light starter tastes really good on a mild summer evening and is also perfect for a menu, as it is made very quickly and looks good too. Fresh baguette and fruity white wine go well with it, e.g., Yellow Muscat.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
