Ingredients

  • 500 g spinach leaves, fresh or frozen
  • 150 g almond (s), peeled
  • 6 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 apples
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ coriander, ground
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash, drain or thaw the spinach.
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  3. Wash, peel, quarter and core the apples and cut into fine wedges.
  4. Roast the almond kernels in a pan without oil, let cool and chop.
  5. For the sauce, stir together the garlic, lime juice and honey, season with caraway seeds, coriander and salt. Marinate the apple wedges in the sauce.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, steam the spinach in it for about 3 minutes, remove, drain, put in a bowl, mix with the apple sauce and sprinkle with the almonds.
  7. Goes well with it: bread
  8. Drink: a light table wine red or white
