- 1 small cauliflower
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 1 onion (s)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 375 g minced meat, mixed
- Pepper White
- 30 g butter, or mararine
- 20 g flour
- 0.25 liter ¼ milk
- 50 g cheese (Gouda), rated
- nutmeg

- Clean and wash the cauliflower, cut into florets and cook in plenty of salted water for 15 minutes.
- Peel the onion and cut into fine cubes. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion and minced meat in it, season with salt and pepper from the mill.
- Arrange the cauliflower and minced meat in a baking dish. Heat the fat in a saucepan. Add flour and sweat. Deglaze with the milk and bring to the boil. (If you prefer a little more sauce, you can add more milk. But be careful! The cauliflower draws a lot of water when it is cooked, which it then loses when it is gratinated.) Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir part of the grated cheese into the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the mince and cauliflower and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in the preheated oven at 225 °, gas mark 4, for 10-15 minutes.
