Ingredients

  • 1 head pointed cabbage (approx. 500 g)
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 100 g ham (salmon ham)
  • 300 g double cream cheese
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage. Quarter the cabbage, cut out the hard stalk. Pre-cook the cabbage in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Drain. Quarter the mushrooms and fry them in hot fat for about 3 minutes. Put in a baking dish with the cabbage. Dice the salmon ham. Mix the cream cheese, cream, egg and egg yolk together. Fold in the ham cubes. Season with salt and pepper and pour over the vegetables. Baked in the oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes. If necessary, cover halfway through the baking time.
  2. Cut the chives into rolls and sprinkle over the cabbage just before serving. Then garnish with parsley if necessary.
  3. Boiled potatoes or baguettes with, for example, herb butter go well with this.
