Instructions

  1. Puree one of the two bananas. Add the chia seeds and mix with the almond milk, maple syrup and curd. Put half of this mixture in a second bowl and stir in the cocoa. Cover both bowls and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Then layer both masses alternately in glasses. Slice the second banana and spread some banana slices between the layers. Use banana chips and dark chocolate as a topping.
  3. Vegan version: Replace the quark with plant-based chocolate protein powder and the dark chocolate with cocoa nibs.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
