Ingredients

  • 75 g fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoon pine nuts
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 200 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon parmesan, freshly grated
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley, fresh

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except for the parmesan with a hand blender, gradually adding the individual ingredients. When everything is pureed, stir in the parmesan.
  2. Alternative: If you like the gentle variant, you can also prepare everything in a mortar.
  3. Pour the pesto into a glass and close tightly (makes approx. 300 ml). The pesto will keep for a few weeks in the refrigerator.
