Ingredients

  • 1 head batavia lettuce, light or dark
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Salad herbs as desired

Instructions

  1. Chop the batavia lettuce into bite-sized pieces, wash and drain.
  2. Finely dice half an onion and mix with the other ingredients to make a homogeneous dressing. Put the salad in a bowl, pour the dressing over it and mix carefully.
  3. The dressing also tastes good on other leaf salads that are a little bitterer. Endive, lamb`s lettuce or frisée.
