Ingredients

  • 500 g sausae (Lyoner or Reensbur)
  • 1 medium onion (s), cut into rings
  • 8 tablespoon vinegar (e.g. wine vinegar)
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 6 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Skin the sausage, cut into slices and place in a bowl. Peel the onion, cut into rings and add to the sausage slices.
  2. Make a marinade from the remaining ingredients and pour over the sausage, onion and cheese. Finally you can cut chives and sprinkle over them.
  3. Tip: For Swiss sausage salad, cut 50 g of Emmental cheese into wafer-thin strips (this is easier to skewer on a fork).
