Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 150 grams sugar
  • 300 grams flour

  • 5 apples
  • 1 packet custard powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 450 ml milk

For covering:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 250 g desiccated coconut or
  • Walnuts, ground or
  • Almond (s), ground
  • 2 egg (s)

Instructions

  1. First prepare a batter from the ingredients for the dough. Spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or greased.
  2. Cook 1 packet of pudding according to the instructions on the package (with a little less milk, depending on the manufacturer. Best 450 - 470 ml). Cut 4 - 5 apples into cubes and add to the hot pudding. Let cool and spread on the dough.
  3. Then mix all the ingredients for the topping well and spread on the apple mixture. Bake for about 40 minutes at 175 ° C.
  4. Tip: Instead of desiccated coconut, I myself like to use walnuts or ground almonds, which are also delicious.
