Paprikashka is a Hungarian dish, most often made from a piece of raw pork bacon. Later I will tell you a classic recipe for the dish. Today we will make a fragrant beef heart paprika.
Cook: 1 hour 30 mins
Servings: 4
Ingredients
Beef heart – 1 pc.
Bulb onions – 1 pc.
Ground sweet paprika – 1 teaspoon
Garlic – 2-3 cloves
Black peppercorns – 10-15 peas
Vegetable seasoning – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp
Directions
First, wash the beef heart and pour cold water for an hour.
Then rinse again, add water again, add peeled onions, peas and vegeta. Bring to a boil and cook for about an hour, periodically removing the resulting foam and piercing with a skewer in several places.
After the above time has elapsed, leave the heart in water to cool. Then take it out, rinse under running water and cool.
Cut the heart, giving it a flatter shape, as seen in the photo.
Prepare the marinade. Combine salt, paprika and grated garlic.
Add the sunflower oil and stir well.
Wipe the heart with the marinade inside and out. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for a while so that the beef heart paprika is saturated with all the aromas.
Cut the beef heart paprika into thin slices, garnish with herbs and serve as a cold appetizer.
