Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef
  • 100 g bacon, smoked
  • 5 large onion (s)
  • 6 juniper berries
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Parsley, plenty
  • 1 bottle red wine
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the onions into eighths of a slice. Cut the meat into cubes about 2 cm. Chop the bacon and leave it out. Fry the onions in the bacon, brown them lightly and take them out of the pot. Fry the meat in small portions in the saucepan. Add the meat portions, all the spices and the red wine and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add the fried onions and plenty of finely chopped parsley and cook for another 1 - 1 1/2 hours on the lowest heat.
  2. Serve with cranberries on top of cream and baguette.
