  1. Cut the beef into 2 equal pieces of roughly 250 g each. Pound each piece gently with a meat mallet until slightly flattened. Coat all sides with vegetable oil.
  2. Heat a grill pan on medium heat. Place the steaks in the pan, sprinkle with salt, ground black pepper, and spice, and fry for 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 60 °C (140 °F).
  3. Flip the steaks and fry for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for 7 minutes before serving.
