Biriani with Vegetables

Biriani with vegetables is a national Indian dish. However, in many other eastern countries, it is also popular. Prepared with rice, Garam Masala spice mix and a variety of vegetables.

Servings: 3-4

Cook: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Ginger Root – 30-50 Grams
  • Spice mixture Garam Masala – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • A bunch of coriander (cilantro) – 1 Piece (Small.)
  • Rice – 2 Cups (Better Basmati Rice)
  • Carrots – 1-2 Pieces
  • Potatoes – 1 Piece
  • Green beans – 100-150 Grams
  • Vegetable oil – To taste
  • Water – To taste
  • Garlic – 3 Cloves

Directions

  1. First grind the garlic and ginger, preferably in a blender. Then fry the resulting ginger-garlic paste in vegetable oil in a saucepan.
  2. Cut vegetables, carrots, potatoes and green beans into small pieces. Add to pot. Put the rice in there too.
  3. Add water and spices. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. You will have a wonderfully aromatic dish – biriani with vegetables.
