Ingredients

  • 4 steak (s), (Black Angus beef fillet)
  • 4 tablespoon oil, (peanut oil)
  • 4 tablespoon pesto, red
  • 1 teaspoon spice mixture, (garlic - chili spice)
  • 2 teaspoons mustard, (paprika - mustard)
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • sea-salt
  • Pepper, black

Instructions

  1. Make a marinade from peanut oil, soy sauce, pesto, mustard and garlic - chili spice. Mix all ingredients with a whisk, ideally in a shallow container. Season the beef fillet steaks lightly on both sides with a little salt and pepper to taste and, after turning several times, place in the marinade and cover and chill for a few hours. Allow to reach room temperature before roasting.
  2. Fry the steaks in a hot, coated grill pan on both sides for approx. 4 minutes at a high temperature. Then let it rest for about 30 minutes at 80 degrees in the preheated oven.
