Instructions

  1. Wash the currants and remove the stalks. Put in a saucepan and squeeze or puree. Mash the bananas until they are pulpy and add to the currants.
  2. Weigh and add the gelling sugar according to the weight of the fruit. Bring the fruit pulp to a boil and simmer for about 4 minutes.
  3. Pour hot into screw-top jars and close immediately. Let cool down.
