Ingredients

  • 6 sausages
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 8 potato (s) or selected as required for the pan

  • Caraway seed
  • 0.5 liter ½ meat broth or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Cut the 6 sausages into slices. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and fry the sausage slices until golden and slightly crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Peel and chop the 8 potatoes. Add them to the pan and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the 500 g sauerkraut, stir to combine, and fry for 5 minutes more.
  4. Pour in the 0.5 liter broth and stir well. Cover the pan with a lid.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds.
