Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 200 g powdered suar
  • 120 g chocolate flakes
  • 120 g almond (s), rated
  • 80 g lemon peel

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites into firm snow and beat with the icing sugar to make meringue. Fold in the chocolate flakes and the grated almonds.
  2. Place small heaps on baking paper and bake at 175 ºC in a preheated oven for about 13-15 minutes.
  3. Makes about 50 Brazilians.
  4. My mom adds 80 g of lemon peel to the mixture, but I like it better without it! I replace the 80 g half with chocolate flakes, half with almonds.
