Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef from the bow
  • 1 ½ onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bell pepper (s)
  • 150 ml white wine
  • 300 ml wheat beer, dark
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 5 tablespoon, heaped tomato paste
  • Oil or lard

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef and season with salt. Dice the onions, garlic and paprika.
  2. Heat a saucepan with oil or 1 tablespoon of lard and sear the meat.
  3. Glaze the garlic and onions in a separate saucepan and deglaze with white wine.
  4. Add the onions and garlic to the meat and only then add all the spices. Then add the tomato paste and shortly afterwards deglaze with the beer. Let the induction cooker simmer on medium heat.
  5. The total cooking time is approx. 2 hours and 45 minutes. After about 2 hours and 15 minutes, add the peppers.
  6. Potatoes or spaetzle are recommended as a side dish.
