Ingredients

  • 2 pretzels from the day before, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 70 ml milk, as needed
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 50 g bacon, smoked, finely diced
  • 1 small onion (s), finely chopped
  • Pinch (s) salt and pepper, black
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon clarified butter

Instructions

  1. Pour hot milk over the pretzel cubes and leave to soak for 20 minutes.
  2. Leave the bacon in the pan and sauté the onions until translucent. Mix with the soaked pretzels, eggs, breadcrumbs and parsley, season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  3. After 10 minutes, form thalers out of the dough and fry them in the hot clarified butter until they are brown and crispy.
  4. A leaf salad goes well with it.
