Ingredients

  • 1 kg tomato (s)
  • 1 garlic - onion or
  • 4 clove (s) garlic (can be more if you like)
  • 0.5 ½ package basil, frozen or
  • 7 basil leaves, fresh, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 olive oil or salad oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Put in a bowl. Finely chop the garlic, fold into the tomatoes with the basil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in 4 tablespoons of oil. Let everything soak for at least 4 hours.
  2. Can be done the day before. Then it tastes particularly good.
  3. Ciabatta bread or ciabatta rolls go well with this. We like to eat it with grooves.
