Brussels Sprouts in Bread Crumbs

An excellent side dish for any meat is Brussels sprouts baked in bread crumbs.

Ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts – 650-700 g
  • Melted butter – 3 tbsp
  • Grated Parmesan cheese – 2 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs or breadcrumbs – 0.25 cups
  • Spices “Italian herbs” – 1-2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Make a cruciform incision on the stem of each Brussels sprouts.
  2. Boil water in a saucepan. Cook Brussels sprouts until half cooked, 8-10 minutes.
  3. Put the cabbage in a non-greased dish, sprinkle with 2 tbsp of oil.
  4. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, remaining butter and spices.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked mixture over the cabbage.
  6. Cover with foil and bake Brussels sprouts for 10 minutes at 160 degrees.
  7. Remove the foil and cook for another 10 minutes.
