Ingredients

  • 2 cup bulgur
  • 2 tablespoon margarine
  • 3 cup water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 400 g beef
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine & butter, then add the 2 cups bulgur, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown a little, add 3 cups of water (season to taste) and bring to the boil with the lid closed. Turn back the heat and let it swell over a very low heat. Close the lid of the pot. Place a clean kitchen towel on the pot.

  4. If you wish, you can cook the bulgur with diced onion or beef, potatoes or with tomato paste.
  5. Fry the finely chopped onions in oil until golden.
  6. Fry 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste with margarine / butter together.
  7. Cook the meat beforehand and fry it with the margarine / butter.
