A very juicy and aromatic apple dessert is the Burgundy apple casserole. You can cook the dish from any kind of apple, adding a little cinnamon or vanilla for a brighter aroma.

Ingredients
Apples – 2 pcs.
Butter – 50 g
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Milk – 100 ml
Flour – 3 tbsp
Powdered sugar – 50 g
Salt to taste
Ground cinnamon – 2 pinches (or vanilla)
Directions
Peel the apples and cut into four parts, cut the seeds. Rinse again and cut into cubes.
Melt the butter in a skillet or saucepan.
Put the apples in a container with butter and simmer for about 2-3 minutes, being careful not to soften them.
Sift flour and icing sugar into a bowl, add salt and break eggs there. Stir.
Slowly adding milk, whisk the mixture until smooth. You should get a thick dough, like for pancakes.
Add apples to the dough along with melted butter. Stir.
Place in a mold and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cook apple casserole until golden brown.
Serve the burgundy apple casserole right in the pan, garnish to taste. Don’t forget about a cup of tea or coffee.
