- g 1,000 flour (type 405)
- 500 ml buttermilk, room temperature
- 250 g butter, liquid
- 125 g suar
- 2 packs yeast (dry yeast)
- 1 egg yolk
- Sugar or flaked almonds

- Knead together all ingredients, from flour to yeast, at room temperature and let rise. After 30 minutes, knead again, divide into three parts and make a braid. Press the ends together well. Let rise for another 20 minutes. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with granulated sugar, almond sticks, or both. Bake at 175 ° C on the middle rack for about 45 minutes.
