Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast or fillet
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, hot
  • 2 teaspoons white pepper, ground
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper, ground
  • 2 teaspoons thyme, dried
  • 2 teaspoons oregano, dried
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chilli, dried
  • 3 packs bacon, approx. 0 strips

Instructions

  1. Put all the listed spices in a mortar or bowl with the salt, mix thoroughly and grind, then place in a spice shaker.
  2. Parry the chicken breasts and cut into pieces. These should be about 5-7 cm long and a little thicker than a strong thumb.
  3. Rub the chicken pieces thoroughly with the Cajun spice on all sides and knock off a little if necessary.
  4. Roll each piece in a slice of bacon. Slightly angled so that the bacon lies everywhere.
  5. Now cut the wooden skewers in half, otherwise they will break through the weight and skewer the pieces so that the bacon holds well.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill or in a pan until the bacon is nice and crispy.
