Canape with Salmon and Avocado

Canapes are a great idea for a buffet table! I recommend making tiny sandwiches with salmon, capelin caviar, and avocado! Nice, tasty, and fast!

Ingredients

  • Mini baguette – 1/2 pc.
  • Capelin caviar with smoked salmon – 3-4 tablespoons
  • Lightly salted salmon – 30 g
  • Avocado
  • Cucumber
  • Lemon – 6 slices

Directions

  1. Cut the cucumber into thin slices. Cut the lemon in half and cut it into wedges. Then cut the avocado, peel, and chop.
  2. Collect all the ingredients you need for canapés and start shaping them! Cut the baguette into slices. I took a mini-baguette. If you have a different baguette, cut each slice diagonally in half, as canapes are small sandwiches that are eaten whole rather than biting off gradually.
    You can fry the bread in vegetable oil until golden brown, but I did not do this, since the baguette had a crispy and incredibly tasty crust.
  3. Spread capelin caviar on each slice of bread. You can replace caviar with cream cheese or butter. Chop the salmon.
  4. Place the salted fish on top of the bread. Place the avocado on a bread base.
  5. Make half of the canapes with lemon. The rest – with a cucumber.
  6. You can simply decorate the canapes with a decorative skewer! Or use a skewer to secure the canapes! And you’re done! Can be served to the festive table! Disappears from the table instantly! Bon Appetit!
