Canape with Sausage and Cheese

Ingredients

White bread (like a baguette) – 150 g
Dried sausage (sliced) – 80 g
Cucumber (large) – 1 pc.
Tomatoes (small) – 2-3 pcs.
Hard cheese or toast – 50 g
Pitted olives – 10 pcs.

Instructions

Wash and pat dry the cucumber and tomatoes.
Cut the bread into 1 cm thick slices.
Place bread slices in a baking dish and toast at 200 °C (400 °F) for about 5 min until golden.
Remove from oven and cool completely.
Cut the cheese into thin slices or circles (use a glass the same diameter as the bread).
Slice the tomatoes.
Cut the olives in half.
Slice the cucumber thinly using a vegetable peeler or grater.
Place one cheese slice on top of each cooled toast.
Place a tomato slice on top of the cheese.
Thread onto a skewer: an olive half, a cucumber slice (folded in a wave pattern), and a sausage slice.
Insert the skewer into the toast so it stands upright.
Serve immediately.
