Ingredients

  • 200 g asparaus, white
  • salt
  • sugar
  • 120 g strawberries
  • 20 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon orange juice
  • 4 scoops ice cream, vanilla

Instructions

  1. Peel the asparagus and cut into slices 1 cm thick. Wash, pluck, quarter or eighth strawberries.
  2. Briefly cook the asparagus in a little water with sugar and salt until firm to the bite.
  3. Heat the butter in a pan, add the sugar and let it caramelize, deglaze with the orange juice, reduce slightly. Add the asparagus and let it caramelize.
  4. Arrange the strawberries, vanilla ice cream and asparagus on a plate. If you like, you can garnish with mint or lemon balm.
