Ingredients

  • 1 May turn, approx. 8-0 cm in diameter
  • 8 slices ham (San Daniele)
  • 4 mushrooms
  • some rocket
  • 1 cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, white
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • salt
  • Black pepper from the mill

Instructions

  1. Peel the turnips and cut them into wafer-thin slices (e.g. with the bread slicer). Mix the balsamic vinegar, oil, salt, sugar and pepper and pour over the beetroot slices. Marinate in the refrigerator for approx. 1 hour.
  2. Place about 12-15 slices on each plate, garnish with ham, rocket, mushrooms and tomato. Pour some of the beet sauce over it and season with black pepper.
