Ingredients

  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 250 g carrot (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 processed cheese corners (herbs)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ thyme, rubbed
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • some flour
  • 50 g cheese, rated
  • Curry powder
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Divide the cauliflower into florets and then cut into slices. Peel the carrots and cut into slices. Cook the cauliflower in salted water for about 10 minutes and add the carrot slices halfway through the cooking time.
  2. Finely dice the onion and fry in a little oil with the minced meat. Season the whole thing with the specified spices. Layer the vegetables and minced meat alternately in a baking dish.
  3. Make a roux from margarine, flour, milk and 125 ml of cauliflower water. Season with salt and pepper and add the processed cheese. Bring to the boil and then pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese and put it in the oven.
  4. Baking time: approx. 35 minutes at 180 ° C convection or 200 ° C top and bottom heat.
  5. Potatoes go well with it.
