Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pinch (s) saffron
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 150 g carrot (s), peeled and finely sliced

Instructions

  1. Let the sugar caramelize lightly. Deglaze with 100 ml of water.
  2. Add the ginger, salt, saffron and lemon juice. Boil. Put in the carrot slices. Simmer while stirring for about 10 minutes.
