Ingredients

  • 1 kg carrot (s), peeled
  • 1 cucumber (s), peeled
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 2 dashes Maggi
  • 1 dash sweetener
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar (Melforessig)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Herbs as required, fresh or dried

Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots and coarsely grate with the cucumber using a multi-chopper or a grater.
  2. Make a salad dressing from the other ingredients and pour over the two ingredients. Season again as needed.
  3. Let it steep for one to two hours and then serve.
  4. Good as a salad at barbecues.
  5. Note: the lettuce is still drawing water. The sauce will stretch as a result.
