Ingredients

  • 6 medium potato (s), diced
  • 1 m cauliflower, divided into florets
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 500 g smoked pork, diced
  • 1 onion (s), diced
  • 0.5 liter ½ vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 200 g cream
  • 50 g processed cheese, with herbs (1 corner)
  • 150 g cheese, rated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes. Cut the cauliflower into florets. Cook both together in 1/2 l vegetable stock for 10 minutes.
  2. Dice the onion and sauté in the oil. Add the smoked pork cubes. I do this in a baking dish that can also be put on the stove.
  3. Drain the vegetable stock and collect. Put the vegetables in the casserole dish with the Kasseler and mix a little.
  4. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the stock pot and stir in 2 tablespoons of flour. Deglaze with the broth and stir in a nice sauce. Add the cream and the processed cheese and season with a little salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese over the vegetables and pour the sauce over them. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 160 ° C hot air.
