Ingredients

  • 2 fish (s) (char)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 10 sprigs thyme
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 6 juniper berries
  • 1 onion (s)
  • some wine, red
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil (olive oil)

Instructions

  1. Wash the char, season with salt and pepper, crush 1 clove of garlic into the abdomen and add a sprig of rosemary. Spread out aluminum foil, drizzle with olive oil, add half of the previously chopped garlic cloves, thyme, juniper berries and basil. Place the char on top, cover with the remaining herbs, pour the onion cut into rings and moisten with red wine. Wrap in aluminum foil (not too tight) and place in the oven preheated to 200 degrees and steam for approx. 30 minutes.
  2. Serve with parsley potatoes.
